A lineman of Power Development Department on Thursday died of electrocution while repairing a transformer in Mendhar tehsil of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police here said that PDD lineman Mohammad Shabir (50), son of Badar Din, a daily wager, died on the spot while repairing an electric wire near transformer in Kalaban area of Mendhar.
They said that the body was shifted to the hospital for postmortem.Police have registered a case and taken the cognizance.
